Our last Delatite Landcare Group - Up2Us Bird watching/listening/identifying event for 2025 was held near Blue Range Creek picnic area and provided a great observing experience for our group.

On Sunday morning, members of the Delatite Landcare Group gathered at Boorolite for a bird walk led by Ecologist Bertram Lobert. The conditions were ideal — calm, clear, and full of spring activity.

Last Saturday’s Wildflower Walk at Sandy Creek was a wonderful celebration of spring in full bloom. Twelve participants joined local botanist Sue Ablitt for a guided wander through the bush, where the diversity of wildflowers did not disappoint.

Mansfield’s Mullum Wetlands proved to be the perfect setting for an eager group of 14 bird watchers on Saturday, 11th October. Guided by local ecologist Bertram Lobert, participants enjoyed the first walk in a new series of bird-focused events sponsored by the Delatite Landcare Group.
