Revegetation Incentive
Up2Us Landcare Alliance is excited to partner with the Goulburn Broken Catchment Management Authority to bring you an incredible opportunity to enhance your property's natural capital while building long-term farm resilience.
Through the Climate-Smart Agriculture Program, funded by the Australian Government's Natural Heritage Trust, Up2Us are offering Mansfield Shire landholders subsidised indigenous plant stock for revegetation projects across 2026 and 2027.
Whether you're looking to protect farm dams and water sources, create habitat for beneficial insects that naturally control pests, or establish shade and shelter corridors for your stock and pastures, this program provides the plants, technical support, and expert guidance to make it happen.
Revegetation isn't just good for the environment—it's a smart investment in your farm's future, improving soil health, enhancing drought resilience, reducing erosion, and supporting the beneficial wildlife that contributes to productive, sustainable farming systems.
Suitable sites must adhere to the following guidelines:
Incentives are up to $800 per hectare for indigenous plants and guards or $1200 per hectare for plants guards and fencing
A planting plan will be created with Up2Us Project Officer to guide revegetation and maintenance
Plants must be indigenous to the area
Stock must be excluded from revegetation areas
No barbed wire on fencing around revegetation areas
Minimum areas must be 0.5 of a hectare and above
Landholders are responsible for planting and maintaining revegetation areas
Revegetation works must be completed by October 2027
All EOI’s will be assessed against project objectives and biodiversity outcomes.
