Subsidised Chemical Training Comes to Mansfield Shire

Landholders in the Mansfield Shire now have the opportunity to complete essential chemical training without the hassle of travelling long distances or paying full price. Thanks to generous subsidies, two practical courses are being offered locally for just $50 per person – a huge saving from the usual $380 fee.

The Chemical Users Course is ideal for landholders who want to safely and effectively manage pest plants and animals. Participants will gain the skills and knowledge needed to qualify for an Agricultural Chemical Users Permit (ACUP), which is required to legally purchase and use certain agricultural chemicals.

In addition, a separate 1080/PAPP Endorsement Course is available for current ACUP holders who want to manage pest animals such as foxes and wild dogs using approved chemical baits.

Running these courses locally makes it easier than ever for Mansfield Shire residents to access the training they need to meet legal requirements and improve their land management practices. Places are limited, so early registration is recommended.
