Rail Trail plantings with FGVT and MSC
Amazing efforts and big thanks to Mansfield Secondary school students. Students and teachers from MSC spent a good part of their day with the Friends of the Rail Trail group, planting indigenous plants near the Olivers Road section of the Rail Trail in Mansfield recently. 308 tubes of shrubs and trees were planted in a belt running along the trail with the aim of increasing amenity for trail users and habitat for birds. This planting was a great way for students and Rail Trail members to connect, share and learn from each other.
