Dingo Predation Management Zone Plans Released for 2026–27

The 2026–27 Dingo Predation Management Zone plans are now available, providing an overview of management approaches across designated zones in Victoria. The plans aim to minimise livestock losses from predation while supporting the conservation of dingo populations in areas where they do not impact landholders.

The plans have been developed with input from local graziers, public land managers and other stakeholders, alongside the specialised knowledge and experience of local Vertebrate Species Management Officers (formerly known as Wild Dog Controllers). This collaborative approach helps ensure management strategies reflect local conditions and priorities.

The plans can be accessed through the Agriculture Victoria website. For further information, or to contribute to future management plans, contact your local Vertebrate Species Management Officer using the contact details provided on the Agriculture Victoria webpage.
