Revegetation Incentive Program
A Rare Opportunity for All Mansfield Landholders
Through our partnership with the Goulburn Broken Catchment Management Authority and funding from the Australian Government's Natural Heritage Trust, we're offering something truly special to landholders across the Mansfield Shire: subsidised indigenous plant stock, complete with plant guards, stakes, and expert technical support to help you succeed.
This program isn't just for large-scale farming operations—it's open to all landholders, whether you manage a working farm, small acreage property, or lifestyle block. If you have land in the Mansfield Shire (minimum 4 hectares), this opportunity is for you.
What's Included
Successful applicants receive:
Indigenous tube stock appropriate for your site
Plant guards and stakes
Technical advice on site assessment and planting design
Species selection support (mix of trees, shrubs and ground covers)
Guidance throughout the planning and implementation process
You'll need to contribute through site preparation, fencing if required (to protect young plants from wildlife or neighbours' stock), and ongoing maintenance—making this a genuine partnership that ensures the best outcomes for your property.
No Livestock? No Problem!
This program is designed for all types of properties. You don't need livestock or a commercial farming operation to participate. Whether you're managing a small vineyard, growing olives, running a permaculture property, or simply wanting to enhance your lifestyle block with native vegetation, we'd love to work with you.
Flexible Planting Options
Understanding that every property and every season is different, we're offering flexibility in when you plant:
Winter 2026 planting
Winter 2027 planting
Both seasons (if you want to spread the work)
All planting must be completed by 30 September 2027.
Don't Wait—Apply Today
Now is the time to complete your Expression of Interest. Complete the online EOI form
Our team will then assess all applications, conduct site visits for shortlisted properties, and work with successful applicants to plan their projects.
