First Volunteer Session of the Year at Fords Creek

This morning we held the first volunteer session for the year along Fords Creek at the Botanic Gardens, and it was a beautiful autumn day to be out in the field.

A small but dedicated group spent time carefully weeding and clearing around existing plantings to reduce competition and give them the best chance to thrive. It was especially encouraging to see how many of last year’s plantings have survived the summer and are now flourishing.

A big thank you to everyone who came along and contributed their time and energy. We look forward to seeing you at one of our upcoming volunteer sessions.
