Capture the Mini Beasts of Mansfield!
Up2Us Landcare Alliance is proud to sponsor the Mini Beasts Photography Section at the 2025 Mansfield Show, celebrating the fascinating world of insects and the people who take the time to observe them up close!
From busy bees to curious beetles, Mansfield is home to an incredible variety of tiny creatures that play an essential role in our environment. This competition invites local photographers—novices and experienced alike—to turn their lens toward these miniature wonders and share their discoveries with the community.
🕷️ How to Enter:
Take a photo of a mini beast — any insect you find interesting!
Print size: must not exceed 20 cm x 30 cm and must be mounted on card (not under glass).
Entries are to be delivered to the Mansfield Showgrounds by 6pm on Thursday, 13 November for judging.
Securely attach your entry ticket to the back of your photo, including your name and phone number so entries can be returned.
Proof may be requested that the photo is your own original work (printing/developing may be done by someone else).
Photos that appear digitally enhanced (apart from cropping) may be disqualified at the judge’s discretion.
A Novice is anyone who has not previously won a first prize in the Mansfield Show photography competition.

Photo printing services are no longer available in Mansfield. Please plan ahead to print your photos online or through another town before the submission deadline.
The Mansfield Show will be held on Saturday, 15 November 2025—a highlight of the local calendar and a great opportunity to celebrate creativity, nature, and community spirit.
