Planting trees for a greener future
Every tree planted today helps create a healthier, more resilient landscape for future generations.
Across Mansfield Shire, years of land clearing, changing land use, and environmental pressures have left many areas with reduced native vegetation, impacting wildlife habitat, water quality and the resilience of our local environment. Restoring these landscapes through tree planting is one of the most effective ways to protect biodiversity and create a healthier future for our region.
Through our tree planting program, Up2Us Landcare Alliance works with landholders, community groups, volunteers and local schools to establish thousands of native trees, shrubs and grasses each year. These plantings reconnect fragmented habitats, provide food and shelter for wildlife, improve soil health, reduce erosion, protect waterways and help capture carbon for future generations.
Your donation will help us continue this important work across Mansfield Shire. Every contribution supports the purchase of locally sourced native plants, equipment, site preparation, planting events and the ongoing care needed to give young trees the best chance of thriving. Together, we can restore degraded landscapes, strengthen our local environment and leave a lasting legacy for generations to come.
Help us grow a greener, healthier Mansfield Shire—one tree at a time.
