Free nature education for local students

Inspiring young people to care for the environment is one of the most important investments we can make for the future. Through our environmental education program, Up2Us Landcare Alliance provides free, engaging education sessions to publicly funded schools and kindergartens throughout the shire, helping children develop a lifelong connection to nature and an understanding of how they can care for the environment.

Our hands-on sessions bring learning to life through activities such as exploring local ecosystems, discovering native plants and wildlife, learning about sustainable land management and taking part in practical environmental projects. By making these experiences accessible at no cost to our local public schools, we ensure that every child has the opportunity to learn about and connect with the natural world.
