Caught on Camera, A Lyrebird in Full Display

One of our Howqua Valley Landcare members recently checked the cameras on their property and found a male Superb Lyrebird doing exactly what he does best: showing off. Up on his mound, tail thrown forward in that unmistakable silvery cascade, he was dancing for an audience of two females who'd wandered in to watch the performance.

This dance must be happening all over the region as we enter spring, but its not often we get to see it too.
