Women in Ag: Biodiversity on Farms with ANU

Women in Ag Series

Join us for an informative and inspiring session on Biodiversity on Farms with researchers from the ANU Sustainable Farms program. This nationally recognised research initiative has spent more than 25 years working alongside farmers to better understand the role of biodiversity in productive agricultural landscapes.

Ecologists from Sustainable Farms will share key learnings from their long-term research, including how managing natural assets on farms can support biodiversity, strengthen ecosystem health, and contribute to resilient and productive farming systems.

This session will explore what natural assets are, the relationship between biodiversity, ecosystem services and farm productivity, and practical, research-backed approaches to managing native vegetation and other natural features on farms.

Tuesday 28 April
10:00am – 12:00pm
Mansfield (location TBC)

Perfect for women working in agriculture who want to learn how biodiversity can support healthy, productive farms.
