Join the Delatite Landcare Group for an evening in the forest and help contribute to their ongoing Southern Greater Glider Survey.

The Southern Greater Glider is Australia’s largest gliding marsupial. Once common across its range, it is now officially endangered. This survey will take place on private property in Boorolite, where we are monitoring a known population of gliders.

The evening will begin with a provided BBQ at 6:30pm, followed by glider spotting and recording once it is sufficiently dark. We’ll walk approximately 2–3 km along and off farm tracks, following the forest margin through an area grazed by cattle.

Sturdy footwear, appropriate clothing and a torch or headlamp are essential. Binoculars are also useful.
