Take Control of Weeds and Pests on Your Property – Subsidised Training for Landholders

Up2Us Landcare is offering a two-part, subsidised training course designed specifically for landholders wanting to safely and effectively manage pest plants and animals using agricultural chemicals and baits.

Thursday August 21: The AQF3 Chemical Accreditation course, delivered by ChemCert, a nationally recognised training provider. This one-day course equips participants with the knowledge and skills to use agricultural chemicals safely. Upon successful completion, participants will receive a Statement of Attainment and be eligible to apply for an Agricultural Chemical Users Permit (ACUP) through Agriculture Victoria.

Friday August 22: is the 1080 & PAPP Pest Animal Bait Course, also provided by ChemCert, and tailored to Victorian legislation. This course is essential for landholders who wish to legally purchase and apply 1080 and PAPP-based baits, with successful participants able to add this endorsement to their ACUP.

Cost: Normally $380 this course is available for $50 per person.
